The Kitchen Collaborative’s New Studio in Burbank
The Kitchen Collaborative started 2014 out with a new facility to call home! Our new stand-alone building is located in the heart of the media district of Burbank, California. Our mid-century commercial building was initially constructed in 1951 as a tool and die shop to service Burbank’s once dominant aerospace industry. We renovated the building to 21st century standards while maintaining some original touches that hark back to a time when Burbank was known more for industrial production instead of its current reputation as the media capital of the world.
The loft style studio includes 12-foot ceilings, large daylight skylights, slick concrete floors, and an independent smart climate control system. The photo studio is complete with a large grip room, built-in backdrop walls, a stand-free seamless pulley system, a dedicated makeup and styling area and a separate restroom. The offices feature work spaces and comfortable meeting areas with unique mid-century décor touches. The rear of the studio also has an alley access rollaway door and loading ramp with gated secure parking. We are also conveniently located near several camera and lighting equipment rental vendors.
We’re excited about our new digs and can’t wait to keep cooking up great work! If you are a new client and are interested in seeing the space, please feel free to contact us for a tour.
