Staff Spotlight: Drew, Social Media & PR Coordinator
Earlier this summer we were delighted to add a new member to our team, our Social Media & PR Coordinator Drew. He comes to us with a background in social/digital media, public relations, and market research and outreach, gleaned during his time working with major public relations firms like Tyler Barnett and De Waal & Associates and assisting with marketing for Sensu K.K., a start-up tech company based in Tokyo. While an undergraduate at San Francisco State University, Drew studied Linguistics, journeying to the University of Ghana to learn in and explore the West African nation. He is currently working toward a Digital Marketing Certification from UC Irvine. Here’s Drew, in his own words.
What’s one thing you can’t live without?
I think life would be very difficult without coffee.
What would you do if you weren’t doing this?
I would most likely still be working in Communications and Digital Marketing. Possibly remotely or even in another country.

What has been your favorite project at Kitchen Collaborative?
Participating in the research and digital brand strategy for brands we have only recently began doing work for, as well as researching and developing digital ad strategy.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Surfing, biking, drawing, taking road trips, going to see live music with friends.
What is your dream vacation?
Cuba, before it changes too drastically.
What is the best book you’ve ever read?
Too difficult to choose but recently Journey to the End of the Night by Celine.
