Behind the Scenes on Our Shoot with Platinum Visual Systems
Yesterday our client Platinum Visual Systems, a manufacturer of premium boards, sliding units and display units, came to the studio for a brand refresh photoshoot. The concept behind our art direction was to portray the creativity inherent to their product by illustrating its uses in real world professional situations. This idea helped to inform the casting session we held at our offices a few weeks prior to the shoot, when we looked for male and female models who not only looked like they could portray one of the market segments—including medical caregivers, business people, creative professionals, and educators—but who also conveyed personality through their expressions.
Our previous shoot with Platinum had focused on showcasing the boards, which were held by models dressed to reflect various professional segments, but without showing their faces. This time around, when we updated Platinum’s visual assets, we wanted the product to have an emotional appeal, so our direction sought to show the creativity, diversity and personality of Platinum’s various market segments by showcasing their facial expressions as well as their professional wardrobes. Our photoshoot not only updated the images we had shot for their previous campaign by adding a more human connection, but by depicting workers using Platinum in everyday situations. Take a look at these behind the scenes photos of our photographer, models, stylist and art direction team in action and check out the Case Study on our website to learn more about how we initially helped Platinum bring life to their brand.
