Behind the Scenes: Kain Label Fashion Shoot

Last month, we had the privilege of working with up-and-coming fashion brand Kain Label. Founded by sisters Amanda and Melanie Kain in 2008, the line has since grown steadily and earned a cult following amongst celebrities and everyday fashion enthusiasts alike. Notably, Kain collaborated with Gwenyth Paltrow on an exclusive limited edition t-shirt design for her company Goop.

Our 2-day shoot consisted of both look book and e-commerce photography to support their new venture into selling their clothes directly through their website. For the e-commerce shots, a hot white technique was selected to portray the effortless and sophisticated look of the line and to allow for a clean product presentation when shopping online. For the look book shots, a custom one-of-a-kind painterly backdrop was selected to accent the unique apparel designs with a more dramatic look.

It was amazing working with Amanda and Melanie and their talented team, and we look forward to seeing the new images on their website soon!
