Graphic Patterns in Packaging

Hi, my name is Aniko, and I’m a pattern addict. The Dieline is featuring graphic patterns on packaging as today’s trending topic, and I couldn’t help but repost. There is something about the mathematics of a good pattern that is so mesmerizing, whether used as a decorative embellishment, as a background like wallpaper, or even as the main graphic element on a package design. The appropriate use of patterns can be a great way to add texture to a package without the expense of costly production techniques such as embossing or foil stamping.
