LA Business Journal Women Making a Difference Awards

Last week, I was honored to attend the LA Business Journal’s “Women Making a Difference” awards as a nominee in the “Rising Star” category. The luncheon event was held at the lovely Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Opening remarks were made by Matthew Toledo, Publisher and CEO of the Los Angeles Business Journal, with keynote speakers Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire of Berkhemer Clayton Inc. and Rene White Fraser, Ph.D of Fraser Communications.

The annual awards luncheon has been honoring LA’s most successful women business leaders for the past 18 years, with categories such as Executive, Owner/CEO, Philanthropist, Rising Star, and Volunteer. Winners will be formally announced in next month’s issue of the Journal.
